Climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro for a cause!

“Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all” – Helen Keller

This quote has been the driving force behind Isabel Engel (Dutch) and Dario Farotto’s (Italian) desire to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in August. While the climb would have been life-changing adventure in itself, they both felt a strong urge to increase their impact by raising funds to support those in need and perhaps, to even inspire others to take action. They decided to support their community by raising funds for Serve the City Brussels’ projects. While they will use the money to help fund several different projects, their focus will be Food4Friends – a project that is close to their heart. Sharing food and friendship, Food4Friends works to build caring relationships with those living on the streets of Brussels. The couple shared: The idea of having the support of a local charity organization, which seems to advocate multiple causes with the help of active volunteers strongly appeals to us.”
