Saturday May 9 is Serve the City International’s Global Volunteer Day. Dozens of cities around the world organise on that day some sort of volunteering activity.

Of course, with the current situation, this day looks different than other years, but Serve the City is still committed to reach out and help people in need.

Our objective for that day is to collect 500 reusable face masks that we can then distribute to migrants at Quai des Péniches (or if it has opened by then, the new Red Cross center near Tour & Taxi).

Do you like to sew? Do you want to make a difference? Sign up below to make face masks!

On May 9 between 10:00 and 11:00, we will be waiting outside our office to collect the masks.

Our volunteers have committed to make 43% of the 500 masks
