Opening of Refugee Activity Center!

Thank you all for your amazing on-going support regarding the refugee situation. We are very grateful for each and every one of you.

As already reported  the refugees were transferred from the initial center at Park Maximilian, near Gare du Nord to various Red Cross locations where the Red Cross Staff team takes care of them. Today the new refugee activity center opens for the first time its doors. It is located at Quai de Willebroeck 22 (close to Metro station Yser). The center will be open from 9am-9pm. Every volunteer is welcome to support in teaching languages, clothes sorting, food set-up and activities such as games and movies. There is still a need for food donations and as well hygiene products. Prepared Food –  Only on Wednesdays at 18:30 people can bring preferably sandwiches (NO PORK), or other food that is already prepared or ready to eat (NO PORK) to the refugee center.  Other donations: Please bring them to the depot, at Rue François Mus 7, Molenbeek (close to Metro station Belgica, open from Tuesday until Sunday, from 10am to 18pm).
