We visited our friends at Rafael Center Anderlecht with a visiting team of volunteers. As always, after a welcome, we began our service project. This time, we focused on doing upkeep work on the garden and cleaning a living space to prepare for the new people arriving to the center.
Later, we enjoyed a celebration party with the residents of the community catered by our visiting team. It was a time of starting new friendships and refreshing old friendships.
Spotlight: During the celebration, we had a mix of Hungarian desserts and Spanish-style cakes. We also had a Fun Foosball Championship. The gold went to….visit, play, and find out. 🙂 Thanks to one of our visiting friends that brought sports items and game and activity sets, there were many options for activities, and the kids never became disinterested.
We appreciate all the people that make such connections possible. At lonely times in this world, we share and refresh in friendships together.
