Serve the City has extensive experience of working with companies and organisations providing corporate volunteering opportunities where your team can spend the day (half day) helping the vulnerable in our society.
Are you looking to strengthen your team whilst making a difference in people’s lives and in your city? Contact us to learn more about our team building offer or how you can get involved as a pro bono volunteer.
Volunteer to help the homeless, refugees and asylum seekers by distributing a complete meal and a hot drink to more than 400 people that come to have lunch on a daily basis.
Volunteer to help people on the street by first preparing bags with essential items for the homeless, including food and personal hygiene products, then distributing them to those in need.
Help prepare care bags for homeless people to be distributed in our different project. Your team will take care of the assembly of care bags containing snacks and treats, and personal hygiene products. This project is ideal if you are looking to organise the event on your premises.
Make Brussels beautiful for its inhabitants by cleaning up streets, parks, helping to maintain green spaces and making the city a great place for people to live.
Our organisation is starting a campaign on poverty, therefore we thought it important that our teambuilding activity is related to this issue and gives us very practical insight in the needs of the local community our organisation is based in. And what better place to do that than at SIA. We served soup, did a little cleaning up, and met people we would never have met otherwise. Serve the City could not have chosen a more suitable project for us, thank you!
For the last few years our colleagues have enjoyed deep and meaningful experiences in the community, thanks to Serve the City’s help during our month of corporate volunteering in September. We are so grateful!
When we contacted Serve the City in Brussels for our team building and global community day activities, we wanted something dynamic, and that’s what we got! We dived straight into our activities: gardening at the Little Sisters of the Poor, and lot’s and lot’s of painting at Nativitas and CARIA. It was fun, we bonded, and it was an opportunity to give something back to the people who do so much for our community.
