Independence through cycling

In November, Serve the City Director, Tony Stippelmans based in Sint-Truiden, Belgium, attended a workshop about cycling courses for adults. This workshop was organised by Mobiel 21, an organisation which, amongst other things, helps people and groups who are relocating permanently. Participants exchanged their stories and experiences with other initiatives, and brainstormed ideas on how to make cycling lessons for immigrants more attractive, instructive and safe. Paxx and Serve the City, has been dedicated to organising cycling courses like this for 3 years. They plan to continue with this initiative over the next few years, so as to offer immigrants freedom and independence through cycling.
