Workshop Series: Migration, Asylum & Civic Engagement
Hosted by Mediterranea Bruxelles and Serve the City Belgium
Join us for a two-part workshop series dedicated to understanding migration and asylum in Europe — and exploring how each of us can take action through volunteering and community initiatives.
This event brings together professionals, volunteers, and anyone passionate about social justice and human rights. Together, we’ll learn, reflect, and co-create ways to make a positive impact.

Focus Days Are Back — in a Fresh New Way!
Serve the City is excited to reintroduce Focus Days with a brand-new approach. We’re now offering three unique types of events under this banner:
1. Out of the Box
We’re opening the floor to other non-profit organizations in Belgium. This is their chance to share their work, inspire our community, and showcase the difference they’re making.
2. Deep Focus
Take a closer look at key social challenges we encounter in our projects — from understanding Belgium’s asylum process, to recognizing signs of human trafficking, to supporting minors who have experienced trauma.
3. Spotlight
Hear inspiring stories from our very own Serve the City volunteers! Learn firsthand about their experiences and what motivates them to serve.
