Spooky Sprint 2026

Get ready for the first-ever Spooky Sprint, Serve the City’s Halloween relay race!

Gather your friends, family, colleagues, classmates or neighbours and form a team of 3–5 runners for a fun-filled morning. Whether you’re aiming to win, dressing up for laughs, or simply want to support a great cause, everyone is welcome!

By taking part, you’ll be helping raise funds for Serve the City’s weekly volunteering projects across Belgium, supporting food distributions, homework clubs, and many other community initiatives.

No running experience is needed, whether you run, jog or walk, everyone is welcome!

How it works

Register your team as soon as possible, places are limited, and registrations will close once all team spots are filled.
Each team consists of 3 to 5 participants.
Every team commits to raising at least €100 before race day. This is the minimum fundraising amount required to participate, there’s no limit to how much your team can raise!
Once registered, you’ll have until 11 October to raise funds.
On race day, your team will work together to complete as many relay laps as possible within one hour!

Important: Children are welcome to participate as long as they are part of a team that includes their parent or legal guardian, who must accompany them throughout the event.

How does the fundraising work?

To take part in the Spooky Sprint, each team commits to raising at least €100 by 11 October. There is no limit to how much you can raise, and every euro supports Serve the City’s volunteering projects across Belgium.

Prizes

There will be prizes for:

The team that completes the most laps
The team that raises the most funds
The best team Halloween costumes

09:30 – Team Check-in opens

10:15 – Halloween warm-up

10:30–11:30 – Spooky Sprint relay race

11:30 onwards – Prize ceremony, food, drinks and celebration 🎉

Come in your best Halloween costume, cheer on the other teams, enjoy the atmosphere and help us make a difference in our communities.

Even if you’re not taking part in the race, we’d love to see friends, family and supporters there to cheer everyone on and enjoy the Halloween atmosphere together!
