Twenty years ago, a small group of volunteers in Belgium had a big idea:
What if we brought people together to serve their city in simple, practical ways?
From that first step in 2005, Serve the City Belgium has grown into a movement of kindness — connecting thousands of volunteers with opportunities to serve refugees, the homeless, the elderly, vulnerable children and families, and many others across our communities.
Now, it’s time to celebrate two decades of compassion in action!
