HAMAC
Team up with a child from a single parent family in your neighbourhood and create new bonds!
HAMAC aims to create lasting, enriching and structured links between single-parent families, their children and volunteer residents of the same neighbourhood. It seeks to provide single parents with a period of rest once a week, bringing a new dynamic to community life.
For more information, please visit the HAMAC website: hamacasbl.be or email: info@hamacasbl.be.
Please note the minimum commitment for this project is 6 months (excluding holiday periods).
YAR Vlaanderen Coaching
YAR Vlaanderen Coaching needs volunteer coaches to be part of a programme offering young people between 15- 21 years old a chance to get their lives back on track.
The personal coaching programme aims to highlight the options that are available to them, and to activate their responsibility in taking the key first steps to take control of their lives.
YAR Vlaanderen regularly holds information sessions for those who are interested in participating.
If you believe that young people deserve this opportunity, please contact YAR Vlaanderen directly: sharon.vanrijssel@yarvlaanderen.be.

Le Ricochet
Le Ricochet ASBL supports people with intellectual disabilities in their desire to live as independently as possible. As part of this project, Le Ricochet puts a person with intellectual disabilities in touch with a volunteer so that, together, they can enjoy a leisure activity each month. This could be an afternoon at the cinema, taking a walk together in the park, or simply going for coffee!
The aim is to give people with intellectual disabilities an opportunity to meet others outside their regular social circles and support schemes.
Volunteers are provided with support and advice from Le Ricochet at all times.
The expected requirement of volunteers in this project is the organisation of a leisure activity together once a month.
For more information, please visit the website ricochetasbl.be or contact Le Ricochet directly: melanie@ricochetasbl.be.
